I just purchased this Moscato blend from the World Market store. What possessed me to buy it was that it was only 5% alcohol. This was the lowest Moscato alcohol content that I have seen to date. Then with one sip, I was in heaven. The best little Moscato yet! It was on sale for $12.99! (Save $2 - I believe)

Apparently, Pink Moscato is trending right now. Sutter Home and Barefoot brands now have a "pink Moscato," but the alcohol content is 9 and 10%. Please see my other articles on Moscato recommendations. I definitely recommend 5 to 5% alcohol content for ideal sweetness.
ReplyDeleteM Mochetto is a blend of Moscato + Brachetto grapes, not artificially colored. True Italian Moscato's keep the alcohol low so the fruit is what you taste, bubbles are also natural and not infused. Love this little wine - peach on the front, raspberry on the finish!

DeleteThe only downside to this pink moscato is that the bottle neck is large. My bottle stopper fits snugly in, but the pressure causes it to eventually pop itself out. If you are not going to finish this bottle within a day or two, then the flavor is going to go downhill.
