Clothing Donation Guidelines

It is Spring cleaning time again!  If you are planning to clear out your closet, then here is some guidelines for clothing donations:

Do NOT donate clothing
1) if the garment has underarm staining.
2) if the clothing tags inside the garment look dirty versus new.
3) if the garment is wearing thin between the legs.
4) if the garment has noticeable staining that can not be hidden.
5) if the garment has hole(s) or ripped seams.

Garments that fall into these five categories should be disposed of.  This will avoid self-esteem issues even if someone is the recipient of the clothes as a gift.  Happy Closet Cleaning!

Less paychecks means Less Government income

So companies have been shipping jobs over seas for the last 15 years or more???  So the manufacturing companies in the USA have downsized.  So there are less jobs, less paychecks; therefore, less money is  flowing into the government.

Now, add the fact that some individuals are collecting "unemployment" income.  This is  crazy.

As far as ObamaCare is concerned, it is a good gesture in order to have access to healthcare coverage, but if people can not afford the premiums, then healthcare coverage is still out of reach.

In order to help the economy, manufacturing jobs have to come back to the United States giving everyone a chance to earn a decent income to support a family.  In turn, the government will also get their federal income tax money as well.

If there are no paychecks coming in, then there are no paychecks for the government to garnish or collect from.

This Veranda shoe tree is designed to hold up to 18 pairs of shoes, but I decided to make it into a store display for purses and things!

EOS: Evolution of Smooth Lip Balm

Well, "move over Chapstick" - the next new cool lip balm is EOS (Evolution of Smooth).
This cute little design comes in different scents.  It feels good on the lips, and you look fashionable while applying the lip balm.  Target stores sell them for around $3.00!  Enjoy!

Notice of Right to Have Exemptions Designated

So you have a judgement or more than one judgement in North Carolina . . . So the sheriff has served you a "Notice of Right to Have Exemptions Designated" . . . So what do you do now?

An attorney new to practicing may tell you:  "Fill in everything that you want to keep."

A seasoned attorney may tell you: "The less you put down; the less that the creditors are aware of for the purposes of taking."

This is not legal advice.  Everyone's circumstances are different.  Some property may have public records like cars and rental property.  Those may be best to identify, but unless your aquarium has your name engraved into it . . . there may be no way of proving that it is yours.  Again, I am not giving out legal advice.

I am not responsible for any repossessions that may happen to you, but considering our economy is in a slump, this article may serve as food for thought in case you are short on cash for a seasoned, veteran attorney whose hourly rate may be hundreds of dollars per hour.  Again, this is not legal advice.  Well Wishes!
